Cool PDF Reader 3.0

We all know that when it comes to PDF files, the Adobe products come immediately to our mind. Well, this is true but it's also true that Adobe products are quite large in size and use serious computer resources while running. As opposed to that, I found Cool PDF Reader.

This is a small PDF viewer and reader. With this program, you can view and print PDF files or convert them to TXT, BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, WMF, EMF, and EPS file formats. The program is small and it will install within a blink of an eye.

It offers you many features like zoom in and out, rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, fit page, and fit window. I've tried to convert some PDF file to TXT files and I enjoyed the result. Same thing with conversion to rgaphic formats such as PNG or JPG. One small drawback is the fact that it converted only one page at the time.

The user interface looks good and it's easy to use. All the important features are listed on its main screen.

Pluses: It's freeware.

Drawbacks / flaws: You can convert only one page at the time.

In conclusion: This one is a handy tool developed for those who need a simple PDF viewer and converter.
